【Product Story】
Made from high-quality grapes sourced from the greatest ancient vineyard "Coscojares," it is one of the few old Garnacha grapes in the region, representing the terroir characteristics of the Rioja area, and is a unique handcrafted masterpiece.
Garnacha is a native grape variety of Spain and one of the most important grape varieties in Spain, mostly grown on higher altitude slopes. This wine is produced from grapes harvested from old Garnacha vines planted before 1955 (over 60 years ago, nearly 70 years), with the vines located in the Coscojares area at an altitude of 520 meters in the Sierra de Yerga, where the soil is slightly clayey with brown limestone. The "old vines" produce lower yields, and the nutrients absorbed only supply a small number of grapes, resulting in grapes with richer, more concentrated, delicate, and complex flavors.
